The Kezar Markets - Luminex Alternative Trading System team is looking for a highly motivated software engineer to join its Technology Team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled full-time software engineer. This is a dynamic software development life cycle opportunity for a self-driven candidate interested in being a part of the technology team of a growing capital markets organization.
Core Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain technical components and features of a complex trading platform.
Responsibility of multiple critical technical features, tools, and frameworks – mostly backend and middleware.
Technical, troubleshooting and analytical responsibilities.
Education and Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or related field(s)
5-8 years’ professional development experience
Candidates with longer track record are encouraged to apply
Experience/interest in the financial services industry preferred
Proficiency with Python
Proficiency with Java
Technical Skills:
Background in software engineering and data engineering fundamentals
Experience with high-availability systems
Ability to work in a fast paced, high-stress environment
Superior ability to troubleshoot system issues
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
Advanced experience with SQL a plus
Experience with FIX protocol and financial order routing is a plus
Experience/interest in DevOps, testing, deployment, support is a plus
Experience with micro-services, pub-sub, and message queues is a plus
Fluency in Linux, experience with AWS a plus
Salary Range and Benefits:
The expected base salary for this Boston, Massachusetts, United States-based position is $100,000-$150,000.
